The Armory Show admission ticket offered to hotel guests booking through the Style & Scene promotion is valid March 5–8 at Piers 92 and 94. The Bloomingdale’s VIP Shopping Envelope, available March 3–8, is valid for the 59th Street flagship store on Lexington Avenue and includes a 15% all-day savings pass; a complimentary gift available in the Bloomingdale’s Visitors Center; a complimentary cappuccino or Bloomingdale’s famous frozen yogurt with the purchase of an entrée in the store’s Forty Carrots restaurant; a complimentary skin analysis and customized SK-11 facial; a private, complimentary makeup consultation; and a deluxe travel-size item from Dior. Armory Arts Week is a premier art happening attracting some of the world’s most enthusiastic international and domestic collectors. With the City being home to more art collectors, galleries, first-class museums, critics and artists than any other city in the world, this weeklong celebration, including the Armory Show, has been the world’s leading art fair devoted to the best art of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The Armory Show, successor to the highly acclaimed Gramercy International Art Fairs that attracted thousands to their New York, Los Angeles and Miami shows between 1994 and 1998, takes place at Pier 94 on Manhattan’s west side. A new section, dedicated to dealers specializing in modern works, will debut this year at the adjacent Pier 92.
