Cebu Pacific doubles frequency to Boracay

Cebu Pacific will double its capacity for its Manila-Boracay (Caticlan) service by adding four daily flights starting 10-Dec-08. The airline will use its ATR 72-500 aircraft for the added frequencies, bringing CEB’s daily frequency to Boracay up to eight-times.

The ‘Go lite’ fare to Boracay (Caticlan) starts at PHP1,188. Passengers with bags will just add PHP200. Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and distribution, said, “Boracay continues to be the Philippines’ single largest tourist destination and we want to make sure that there are enough ‘low fare’ seats to Boracay so we can draw both local and foreign tourists to this world class destination.”

Iyog added, “The additional frequencies come just in time for the Christmas holidays where we anticipate increased traffic to Boracay.”

CEB also increased its capacity for its Manila-Kalibo service by 48%. The additional frequency departs from Manila at 5:30pm and lands in Kalibo at 6:45pm. The return flight leaves Kalibo at 7:05pm and arrives in Manila at 8:20pm.
