Cebu Pacific reduces year round fares for local and international routes

Cebu Pacific Air reduced (12-Nov-08) its year-round fares for most of its international routes and all domestic services. Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and distribution, said, “We want to assure the public that despite the slowdown in the global economy, CEB will continue to make air travel a viable option for every Juan.

“These new fares will also further boost domestic and international tourism and trade.”

The one-way Cebu Pacific ‘Go Lite’ fare for flights from Manila to Mindanao is at PHP1,888 all-in. While one-way ‘Go Lite’ fares for flights from Manila to Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Kalibo, Dumaguete, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, Tacloban, and Tagbilaran are at PHP888 all-in.

Moreover, the PHP588 all-in one-way ‘Go lite’ fare is available for services from Manila to Busuanga, Cebu, Iloilo, Legaspi, Naga, San Jose (Mindoro), and Tuguegarao.

Intra-Visayas and intra-Mindanao ‘Go Lite’ fares are sold at PHP888 all-in and PHP588 all-in. The one-way fare to Laoag is at PHP288 all-in.

For international services, Cebu Pacific’s one-way ‘Go Lite’ fares for flights from Manila to Macau and Clark to Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and, Bangkok are available at PHP299.

In addition, the one-way ‘Go lite’ fares from Manila to Bangkok, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore are sold at P799. While ‘Go lite’ fares to Hong Kong and Singapore from both Cebu and Davao are also sold at PHP799.

The Manila-Shanghai ‘Go lite’ fare is at PHP1,799. International fares are exclusive of government taxes and applicable surcharges.

Cebu Pacific explained that the ‘Go Lite’ fares are availed by passengers with no check-in luggage. Passengers with check-in bags will add PHP200 upon booking.
