Bing was recently launched by Microsoft as a replacement of MSN search but apart from its regular search engine functionality, Bing also offers flights and hotel search, airfare price and comparison and predictions, travel deals and travellers community that offers news and travel advisories.

Bing Travel was a combination of search and travel tools following the Microsofts acquisition of Farecast from MSN travel

Launched last June 3,2009 – Microsoft calls this new Travel Search as a “Decision Engine” since it aims to help travelers to make better decision on where to go and where to stay.

According to a recent survey by Microsoft’s Bing Travel, 52% of online travel searchers compare three or more travel reservation sites before booking their accommodation and airfare. Bing Travel aims to provide faster and comprehensive results in one search result in order to help customers decide faster with confidence.

Currently, Bing’s “Airfare Deals Search” section only prioritize U.S. flights but as promised, each search provides wide aray of options as well as discounts. Bing Travel is available for travelers at http://www.bing.com/travel.
