Philippine Airlines to Increase Flights to Bangkok Thailand

Philippine Airlines will be flying twice daily to Bangkok when it adds three more frequencies to its previous four evening flights on 2 October 2008. PAL will add flights every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Flight PR 732 will now depart Manila everyday at 7:30 p.m., arriving in Bangkok at 9:50 p.m. The return service, PR 733, departs Bangkok daily at 11:10 p.m. and lands back in Manila at 3:40 a.m. the following day.

Modern Airbus A320 aircraft, which seats 12 in Mabuhay Class (business) and 144 in Fiesta Class (economy), will continue to fly the evening frequency.

The new daily evening service complements the standard daily morning service from Manila. Passengers boarding in Bangkok can choose between afternoon and late-evening departures.

PAL is offering a special round-trip rate of $88 on Fiesta Class, valid only on flights PR 732 / PR 733. The promo fare is available for sale and travel until September 30, 2008.

PAL has also launched attractive promotional fares to key points in Indonesia and Vietnam via a combination of its regular and interline services.

Special round-trip fares to Indonesia start at $282 for a routing from Manila to Jakarta vice-versa on PAL flights PR 535 / PR 536, connecting to a Jakarta-Denpasar (Bali) vice-versa flight on PAL’s interline partner Garuda.

The same routing, with Surabaya as the final destination in place of Denpasar, is offered at $292 round-trip, while Indonesia’s cultural capital Yogyakarta, gateway to the magnificent Borobudur temple, can be reached at the special rate of $249 round-trip.

The Indonesia promo fares are available for sale until November 28, 2008. Travel must be completed by November 30, 2008.

A separate promotion is offered for Bangkok in combination with the Vietnamese capital Hanoi. For a routing of Manila-Bangkok vice-versa on PAL, connecting to Bangkok-Hanoi vice-versa on Vietnam Airlines, PAL is offering special fares as low as $208 round-trip.

The fare is valid for sale and travel until March 31, 2009.
