“Maha is dedicated to creating an accessible and memorable experience for all who attend,” said Rachel Grace, co-executive director for Maha Festival. “Our reputation for a community-centric festival environment – paired with some of the biggest names in indie music – attracts thousands of fans from out of town each year. It’s an excellent introduction to Omaha’s creative scene and discovering what the city is all about.”

The two-day summer celebration of music and discovery is scheduled for July 28-29 in Omaha’s Aksarben Village. The nonprofit festival has grown over the years, attracting musicians, comedians and other entertainers from around the nation. This year’s lineup includes Grammy-nominated headliners Big Thief and Turnstile, along with Alvvays, Peach Pit, Ekkstacy and ten more artists performing across two stages.

“Music fans from all 50 states travel to Omaha to experience Maha festival and explore Omaha’s dining, arts, and cultural scene,” said Visit Omaha executive director Deborah Ward. “By developing this influencer program, we are creating an opportunity to showcase the festival to a larger audience and further promote the creativity found throughout our city.”
