WORLDHOTELS and Amadeus launch Competition for Indian Travel Agents

WORLDHOTELS, an established global hotel group for independent hotels and regional hotel brands, and Amadeus, a leading Global Distribution System (GDS), have launched a competition rewarding agents with a host of prizes for room bookings between April 1 and June 30.

Agents making BAR or public rate bookings materialised by July 30 at WORLDHOTELS member hotels can win ten prizes of portable mini-speakers for registering 50 to 99 room nights. For bookings of 100 nights or over there are five prizes of i-Pod mini videos.

In addition, agents with qualifying entries who do not win prizes enter a Grand Draw with prizes of two nights at The Claridges Hotel New Delhi, Atrium Hotel & Conferencing, Faridabad or the Imperial Palace Hotel, Mumbai.

As part of the promotion, WORLDHOTELS is guaranteeing travel agent commissions are paid within 30 days from date of check-out.

“It’s an exclusive promotion and one key area that we are highlighting is the prompt payment of commissions,” said Roland Jegge, Senior Vice President Asia-Pacific for WORLDHOTELS.

“Unlike any other promotions that Amadeus has done with other partners, we’ve provided contact details for any agents enquiring on this issue as an assurance of our commitment and transparency.”

The competition is valid only for bookings for WORLDHOTELS properties under EW master code – WW and GV codes. It does not apply to bookings by negotiated or contracted rates.
