Crown Macau to host Château Angélus Wine Dinner

On the evening of 30th May, the Crown Macau will host an exclusive Château Angélus Wine Dinner at its atmospheric Aurora Restaurant, attended by charismatic Château owner Jean-Bernard Grenie who joins the extraordinary event featuring the 1995, 1996, 1998 and 2000 vintages of Château Angélus to meet and greet fellow connoisseurs.

Château Angélus – known as Château L’Angélus until 1990 or simply L’Angélus – is a Bordeaux wine from the popular appellation of St. Émilion. Located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, Château Angélus ranks in the top drawer of prestigious St. Émilion estates, a holder of coveted ‘1er Grand Cru Classe’ status.

French-born Grenie tirelessly dedicated himself to the mysteries and nuances of wine on completing tertiary studies in Bordeaux University and joined Angélus in 1987. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Château Angélus, Grenie is renowned for his meticulous attention to the details of wine making, which he credits for the wide appeal of the brand.

Aurora presents the perfect complement to the wines of Château Angélus with mouth watering cuisine prepared under the steady, experienced hand of Aurora Chef Sam Wilkes.

The price to attend this gourmet event is MOP2,400 per person subject to 10% service charge.
