Lanson Place Outstanding Hospitality awarded twice in HotelClub Awards Asia 2008

Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited a HongKong based company and wholly-owned subsidiary of USI Holdings Limited is pleased to announce that Lanson Place Hotel has won two awards in the most recent HotelClub Awards Asia 2008.

Lanson Place Hotel was rated as one of “Top 5 Hotels in Asia” and one of “Top 3 Service Hotels” by HotelClub, a leading online accommodation provider. It is the only Hong Kong hotel to have made it to the two honours lists, reflecting Lanson Place’s high quality accommodation offering outstanding services.

The awards are the latest industry recognitions given to Lanson Place Hotel. Shortly after its opening in 2006, Lanson Place Hotel has become Hong Kong’s first member of “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”, and was later awarded the “Boutique Hotel of the Year” in SCMP / Harper’s Bazaar StyleAwards 2007.

Mrs. Karen Li, the Executive Director of Lanson Place, said the Group was pleased to have received such accolades from their guests. Leveraging Lanson Place’s boutique and personalized services and recognition amongst MNCs, Lanson Place was confident in sustaining impressive growth in Asia’s hospitality market.

Winners of the HotelClub Awards Asia were chosen based on an online consumer survey hosted by HotelClub.com. More than 120,000 votes from 120 different countries were counted. The awards winners were selected from a shortlist of 300 finalists out of over 7,100 hotels and resorts in Asia, making the HotelClub Awards the most extensive and accommodating in the industry.

Currently, Lanson Place operates and manages one boutique hotel in Hong Kong and five serviced residences in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. To capture the opportunities in China and South East Asia, Lanson Place has recently opened Lanson Place Central Park Residences in Beijing in June 2008. This Beijing property offers 105 luxurious residential apartments to senior expatriates and is located in the CBD area of Beijing.
