Over 750 Delegates expected at Next Week’s Travel Distribution Summit Asia in Singapore

One of Asia Pacific’s premiere gatherings of travel professionals, the Travel Distribution Summit Asia, begins in Singapore next week. The global appeal of the Asian region as a vital international market is highlighted by the 54% international delegate profile of this year’s event.

The event features 21 information packed sessions split across 3 unique conferences, accompanied by a program of 23 knowledge workshops and a 25 stand technology exhibition.

The Travel Distribution Summit Asia event is part of EyeforTravel’s distribution series, which spans across North America and Europe as well. Nearly doubling in size over the past 2 years – and with over 750 attendees for 2008 – TDS Asia represents the importance, opportunity and technicality of the world’s fastest growing online travel marketplace.

The event targets senior travel executives by providing solutions to travel distribution problems. Practical advice on how to combat rising distribution costs will be given by Air Deccan and Sabre. Tips on how to adapt to the changing distribution landscape and increase profits will be given by industry gurus from Expedia, Abacus and Carlson Wagonlit. IHG, Starwood and Oasis Hong Kong Airlines will share their strategies on growing market share through better sales and marketing.

The Travel Distribution Summit Asia 2008 will be held 18 – 19 March at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore.
